Catherine Tate
Catherine Jane Ford was born on December 5, 1969. She is an English actor and comedian. Tate has been nominated seven times in the BAFTAs and an International Emmy Award, and numerous other accolades for her work in BBC sketch comedy show The Catherine Tate Show (2004)-2007. Tate played Donna Noble on Doctor Who's Christmas Special 2006. Then she reprised her role as the Tenth Doctor's frequent companion on the fourth series.
After the huge success of The Catherine Tate Show, Tate played Joanie Taylor ("Nan") in the BBC One comedy series Catherine Tate's Nan (2009-2015) as well as in the feature film The Nan Movie (2022). Tate was cast as Nellie Bertram, a recurring character in The Office's U.S. version, in the year 2011. She continued to be an ongoing character until the finale of the series. Tate was the voice of Miss Sarah Postern in the BBC One sitcom Big School (2013-2014) and played the role of Magica De Spell in the animated TV series DuckTales (2017-2021). In 2022, Tate starred as six characters in the Netflix comedy series, Hard Cell, which she co-wrote and directed as well.
